Escort missons are horrible in this game

There are to many escorts in this game, and every single one someone is either following you, or you are following them, and then your escort AI wanders off, or stops suddenly,
and you have to scan them instead of them keep on going, and they just sit there while enemies are pounding away on them.

Also it seems escort AI is stupider then the enemy AI. The enemies are smarter then the escort AI.
Escort missions are not bad once every now and then, and also if the escorts are smart instead of stupid, and also if the AI has weapons during escorts, most of them do drive by fire,
or if they get to far behind you, or to far in front of you they shot everything in the general area of them and sit there.

Also the escorts sometimes defy the physics of this game by going through walls or over hills that you can't go through or go over yourself. and it is even worse when sometimes the escort mission has a timer.

Another thing that makes them even worse is if you attempt to do them in a squad, but you can't find a Eng, and also it makes the escort tougher with more people, because there is more mantis in your way,
and it is like what the hell.
At least leave the same number of mantis for the escort all other missions are fine to have more mantis except escorts.

If you think Gemini escort missions are a pain, wait til you get to Mizar and SOL When the ships go over mountains and through walls, use that to your advantage by using AB to get to your target. When they go over mountains and through walls, they will sometimes avoid the baddies Just learn how to use that to your advantage. The escort missions are here to stay so get used to them and find ways to use the little things to the fullest.

Well sometimes that over hills and through walls thing will work against you because of the route sometimes is blocked off and you have to go a long distance instead a short distance just around a wall for say or the escort stops in the middle of a wall and you can't find them at all so you can not scan them or scroll over them. i have had the going through walls thing work against me i had to drop the whole mission and restart like i described above.

I also something i noticed on a lot of the escort ships it does not list the equipment they have or they have no name so you can't really tell what items the escort ship has. so you don't really know if it has a shield, blasters, rockets, repair droid, afterburner, or some other piece of equipment. so you also don't really know if the escort will do drive by shooting or will speed of in front of you if it is a follow the leader escort type mission, until you start the mission and find out.

It's because there's no player-used item to match it. Just liek mantis weapons.

Sorry Akumajuri, but there is no need for you to use all these tools for to get your topics read in the forum.
I think they are perfectly and better visible when you write normal, just maybe changing the color of font.
Red is usually used by me to call attention to someone in this forum, and I would say it is not a proper color for the font to use by others.

I know there is no rule for the use of any color, but maybe using common sense in this case wouldn't be that bad. ^^ :mrorange:
