With the release of the new CQ blueprints, I tought it would be cool that you could enhance weapons to a type.

It could also be possible to have stats, where you can choose your own stats like -25% damage, but +12,5% Speed and +12,5% Aim

Average Range, Damage, speed and Chance on Critical Hit. No Splash.
Version 2: Range

Version 3: Aim
Better Aim, But less Damage, Speed and Range. No Splash.
Version 4: Damage
Higher Damage, But less Range, Speed and Aim. No Splash.
Version 5: Speed
Higher Reload Speed, But less Damage, Range and Aim. No Splash.
Version 6: Splash
Splashes damage on other units close to them, But less Damage, Speed, Aim or Range.

Collectors
Version 1: Average
Average Strength and Speed
Version 2: Strength
Faster to collect bigger energy balls, but slower reload.
Version 3: Speed
Faster Reload, but less strong.

Repair Droid
Version 1: Average
Average Strength, Speed and Length
Version 2: Strength
Faster Repair, but longer reload and less length
Version 3: Speed

good idea
maybe with BPs to find ^^
or the BPs have different stats, which are randomly chosen
that would make the game more individual, especially if these changes are different, for example Blaster 25% more damage, 20% less range, and another one has 10% more damage and 5% less range.

The BP you took last gives the stats, if you want to have these new stats, you can "upgrade" your Blaster for 1/5 or 1/10 of the blaster's-price.
This would be great. And it's easy to program, you just need to make another random choice, and make a table with stats-groups. Or you take advantages and disadvantages as single group and make random choices that you don't have standard like 25% more damage 20% less range or 10% more damage 5% less range but f.e 10% more damage 20% less range.

I on't like the idea of more bp's, if even the new loot comes, an Enhancement is better.

well, my idea isn't even with "new" BPs, it's just with random enhancements. So you just need one BP to get the Blaster but to have other enhancements, you need to collect more.

here's a quick thought to this:

have it be seperate upgrades or bp's...
but make it for rares ONLY.

so a rare will start off as a normal 15% better then top, but then can also have the different variations you have up to... in fact if you want could limit it to really 3 for each BP:
1: more damage/hp (both in the case of turrets)
2: faster recharge time
3: less energy used

(also continuing from my own thread about possible uses for additional bp's)
how about the ability to 'upgrade' bp's by collecting multiple copies and then using them to upgrade that particular bp with one of the enhancements you have suggested? this would also allow people to keep current bp's when the new loot system goes live, AND give them a reason to go back and get more of them at same time.
you can only have 1 enhancement at a time, and you can switch between them, but you must pay the 'cost' in bp's each time you switch. this will keep getting bp's having some use.
if you do keep this for only rares though, I would appreciate it if normal bp's count toward that particular rare (maybe just have them count as less... the rare itself counts as say, 5, where as normal 1 only counts as 1, and only after you have it unlocked)
