Dynamic Death Squads

Several times i've had death squads pass right next to me and got no reaction, yet other times they come over and say hello. It's a bit annoying either way, cause a custodian is supposed to have a long range yet it cant see what's in front of it...

What im thinking of, is making it so the more items you use while near a ds (or any other mantis for that matter), the more visible you will be on their sensors. Like for example if you're a storm ship using your aim computer and perforator, it will make a large energy signature and make you easier to detect. If you're just using your collector it won't make much difference, even using your engines should produce an energy signature. I think this might add a more tactical element to the game, lol

Another thing i want is more randomized DS patrol routes, maybe 1 or 2 routes for each death squad so they don't end up doing giant slow circles around the map, and can also cover a larger area

well, mainly on Hive, you seriously don't want some ds patterns to detect you easier, there are some very narrow roads there, (the turret attack mission place) where a ds passes by and you are only save by seriosly staying very close to the walls.

Here is a list of what I would like to attract attention:
Afterburner: 25% reducement
Nothing: 20% reducement
Flying, Repair Droid, Shield, Taunt,Rep Target, Protector, Rep Field,Stun Charge, Aggrobeacon, Attack Droid, Minelayer: 0%
Buffs, Aim Scrambler, Materializer, Stun Dome: 5%
Blaster: 10%
Rocket, Sniper Blaster, Thermo-Blast: 15%
Aggrobomb, Orbital Strike, Sticky Bomb: 25%

alright scratch the more ds patrols lol

i like it, but blasters and rockets should do 20% each IMO, not only cause the energy signature, but who wouldn't notice laser fire all around them :p

rockets make a big explosion and smoke a lot, blasters don't really do a lot of attraction, sniper blasters just shoots an laser into the air so the ancients can find us more easily.
