Defender weakened?

Is it just me or are there others who noticed that the repair turret(defender) is much weaker now?
Hope it has nothing to do with some update or so :S

I have seen alot of people complain about this. I think they have changed something without telling the players again...

The defender with only three armours is stronger than a parsec with four armours. and when you do install the Parsecs forth armour, it cant ab until you find a sirius afterburner. Yet the Parsec costs a great deal more. so if anyone should feel ripped-off, it the mugs (like me) who grinded for months, yes months splitscreen, for a ship that is substandard in sirius. Also, whats happend to the Sirius ships?? they dont drop anymore on askone, but on solaria, Sirius ships; ancient sirius blasters and tech that is usefull to sirius players drop like rain.
Seems to me that SS is useing different tactics on different servers in an attemp to sqeeze more gold out of us (memberships; boosters etc) while we run round in circles in sirius looking for items that are just not there.
The fun has died is PG, with nothing to aim for, rubbish CQs and no way to progress. no wonder long standing players are away playing other games.

Mad__wolf, if they put a 4th armour on the defender they may as well put a 4th armour on the r45s, r60s and the rest of the r70 ships since they are all higher class ships than the 675k ships. Besides, the 675k ships have had their armour constantly upgraded ever since sol was released making them have 20-25% higher armour than the current highest system normal ships which gave them an edge over everybody else. Putting a 4th armour on drac ships would make the 675k ships worthless.

I always sayd parsecs were not worth the effort...
anyway i also think defender has been weakened becouse normally with my strong rep turret it keeps me alive when 2 ring 4 units shoot me but now i need to use repair meanwhile...
