Cryonite question.

Just wondering if i put the top sol tech on a sol ship and go to mars will i get cryonite or do i have to put mars tech on it?

sol tech is ok, however, zp power actually goes faster,

no, thats bs. I tried grinding mars with zp stuff and got 1 harv cry in 20 harvs and about 10 crys from all the interceptors that dropped.

Its funny, no matter what ship you use to grind on Mizar, certain harvs (r38,r42,r43) always drops cry...

And on Mars, you need sol stuff for good droprate or top draconis tech to kill harvs fast and that way gettin harv crys more.

on the ptr i had a fusioon force coll on my sniper and the rest rare's and then on mars it went down to 6% so just put a low tech thing on your ship maybe something a little useless and the % goes down)

Mars planet with Moon non rare highest tech gives penalty of 19%.
Any rare you install will give you more penalty, so Earth Tech will increase the penalty % on cry much higher.
This happens in all systems with their respective planets unfortunately.

Those are old % numbers. They did fix those % amounts on todays update.
"Fixed a bug in the shown cryonite drop chance as it was showing wrong values"

For example, now cryonite dopchance penalties with my sol sniper ( top normal sol repair, no attack droid, rest are sol rares) are:
-13% for Mars
-6% for Moon

Better now, previously was showing -39% for Mars and -19% for moon.
