cryo stealers

hello everyone. been looking around on the forums here about what others think about people that come along and start shooting at your harvester and taking the cryo you worked hard to get? there should be something in the CoC for that and yes i know its a pirate game but if i see someone grinding on a harv spot i just move on and find another one thats not taken ( i respect others hard work grinding in this game) and so far i have seen afew ppl that are just so lazy to grind for themselves and just sit there tagging others harvs and stealing the cryo, like are you serious? wow kinda sad but it happens. this is just my 2 cents worth about it since there's nothing else here about it and there should be something against stealing cryo from someone else's harvesters thats not in your squad. I'm sure there are alot of ppl in the game that has had this happen to them and i'm sure its make's you all frustrated, especially if the thief isn't red ..

I too don't like this when someone does this however it is a part the game and neither you or I have any claim to any harvester, the other person has just as much right to shoot on that harvester as you or I and for this to be a rule in the c.o.c would then mean that the c.o.c would be interfear in the natural game play of other pilots just the same same as if a GM was to say to you hey you cant shoot tthere he was there 1st. And then makes it just as bad as the player shooting the or stealing the cryonite.

If you cant come to some sort of arrangement with this other pilot and he persists in stealing from you don't get mad just get even and reverse the roles and keep doing back to them. This has worked for me many times and has lead to the other person giving up and getting bored and moving on.

as you said, its pirate game, its part of this game and its more like strategy to not let somebody develop himself - some clan, player.

Second, i saw many ppl who were crying here and in game about rules, honor, how stealing is bad, but when they had to wait many hours(days - after new system is opened and there is need to grind for new ships PP) for free spot, guess what happened.
Problem aren't stealers, only not enough grinding spot considering amount of cry SS force us to pay for stuff here. In old times, when cry drop like rain, the best grinding configuration was to grind in two (one normal player, second booster player - who bought energy), when first shoot only second only collected cry - so fast they drop - there were no issues with stealers (maybe only with one spot - the best on moli ), only if some clan wanted to annoy other .

You can steal cry, bp, backstab ppl, stalk them, its how this game were designed, and its what gave this game specific climate. Some elements you may like, other not.

happend with boss cryo and bp`S, abit to often. and offcourse the player is never red.
more annoying is that many of those pilots where given help etc, and this is what they do in return.

i hope SS will implement a i trigger when picking up bp or cryo that turns you red for a while so that pilots can protect the hard earned drops.

too annoying when some makes one shot and ab inn, steals cryo and blame the "lag" on the server that made him pick up that bp lol.. yes "lag" was one of the reasons ive been given while he/she steals^^
this resulted offcourse in my clan stalking the sq that stole from us, not just on boss bp or cryo, but 3 bp`s and 5 cryo, so we wnet after theirs. we where threatend by movie they "made" that they would send to SS lol. they started stealing and had a blast. but they weren`t so happy when we paid back with same type of stealing.. think we stalked them for an hour or so until they made big turns around us^^

some pepole just need to learn this the hard way.

i know this is a pirate game and i actually think it has to be like this or it would become more boring. allways fun reading the chat full of angry peps

What SS obviously do not realize is that this kind of behaviour is actually driving ppl away from the game. My opinion is to simply push them out of the game. They are usually the little runts that get bullied in school so in the game they feel "strong" by annoying other players and causing trouble.

Get rid of these weak runts that cant do anything for themselves and have peace with it.

I think if someone comes along and takes a shot at whatever you are shooting and pick upp the cryo, well, it's a pirate game.
However if it happens repeatedly for a duration of time, isn't that classed as harrassement anyway?

Not a bad idea, but think about this, may seem impossible, but what if me, who still uses Mars tech, and i unlocked Moon, i need some cryo/bps, and there i meet an old friend, and he helps me out of sq, because i worked hard to get there, and going orbit is waste of time, and when i try to collect, i turn red, then another pirate shows up with Drac tech, and podded me. Now try to solve that problem.

if you sit silent and not harassment somebody with stupid(insulting, writing inproper texts - about his religion, mother etc) messagess, only just steal, its acceptable behaviour, you just do what game let you to do,you just use standard game features.
I checked this many times against another clan who like/liked to cry always to GM when they cant gangbang somebody and must do fair pvp like fight for spot - mostly after they gangbang somebody. GM never did anythin is such situations, but when somebody write something inproper togheter with stealing, yes, was punished. ITs why stealing is offten by mistake considering as harassment, angry gangbanged player not only steal and insulting when they want revenge

As i told, there are always some elements in games we will not like.
In stealing is more SS fault than players, they didnt do more grinding spots after they lowered drop rate so much and increased prices so badly. In the past its was rather strategy, reason to force enemy clan to come and have little or bigger clan wars - earth mostly.

I think more ppl are quting becouse of time they need to spend on grinding, than becouse of those stealers. Personaly dont know anybody who left becouse of stealing cry/bp. But never ending grinding its whant they had enough. They never blamed stealers, only not enought grinding spots - just badly desinged planets

well there are pepole that think it is really fun to pod pilots that are 20 ranks under them selves and unable to fight back, but i chose to belive that there is few pepole that thinks that is fun and getting the so called bad rep as "noob podder"

anyway 4 solships shouldnt have much problems taking on a draco ship. and this person who barge in to pod you wount see your loot if he/she hasnt shot the matis too.

if this presits then you allways got a clan to make payback^^

not pick up while podded.

Dont worry about that mate, its not an infection behavior. Its just expressing power over someone. Go to other place and that loser will go away. Happen to me many times. These are just people who have better computers so they can collect things faster than you, no matter of BP Collector tech. So just ignore them, or watch and laugh to them. Beside that what else you can do, but make fun of someones bad behavior. GM will not help you, if you report they will not help because they dont have resources to help. This problem to be solved there must be hidden GM inside regular players monitoring public chat, so if someone say: "Hey you dont steal" then GM can come and punish bad guy.
