cry /bp theft idea

dont know if it has been suggested before but .
it goes something like this ifa pilot steals cry or bp they instantly turn red for 1 minute and cant leave the planet while pm mode is on .

once said pilot has been podded the stolen cry / bp is droped . only to be collected by the original owner.

clan members and sqaud members are the exeception to this rule . :mrorange:

Here we go again. Yet another topic about "cry stealing".

Get over it, kids: this is a pirate game. This kind of thing which you call "stealing" happens on pretty much every single online RPG-like game I know of.

Yet I seriously wonder why the community of a pirate-based game-idea expects to be babied through it from beginning to end.

What are you talking about, fool? He did not say he wants people to stop stealing his cryonite, he said he wants to kill the people who steal his cryonite. Your argument against this idea is entirely incorrect.

Though this does happen in practically all online games, that does not mean it has to, and I agree that ways should be found to make the situation better. I do not think this is quite the right idea, but should moreover be looked at as a starting point, something to build your own ideas from to make a more plausible and functional answer to these atrocious acts of theft, as well as add some more pvp to the game! :mrorange:

The main problem with this is, of course, who stole? I mean, you can't base stealing simply off of whoever wasn't the first to hit the mantis. I don't know where else to go from there, I can't come up with any way to get around that problem.

You might want to read this forum's rules about proper conduct and name calling.

Hence, my remark that this is "yet another topic about cry stealing". Because regardless of what his proposed solution against cry stealing is, thàt is the very basis of his post. And you're calling mé the fool?

This exact same idea and many other similar ones have been posted since PG consisted of nothing more but Vega and Antares. NONE of these ideas have been found to be plausible, for several practical reasons.

And the main argument against all of those ideas was exactly that which I gave. The one which you call "irrelevant". Apparentely, the developers consider this argument relevant enough to base their whole game on it ànd ignore all proposals for change since it came online.

That's what I've been trying to say here: there àre ways to deal with this, but don't expect them to come from the developers. It's up to you and any of your buddies in your community to deal with it.
