Conquest Alternative?

could you not implement daily tournuments in vega 3, with lets say a 100cry fee to enter, which lets say 50% goes towards the jackpot, and the other 50% pays for your ships repair upon death (this will make the possibility of crystal trading much less practical, since only half the cry actually spent goes into the jackpot. these tournuments could have the same system as the old conquest system, with squads of players chosen at random, so players would not actualy be able to chose who they team up with. this would make the posibility of cry trading verry difficult, if not impossible, although you could still have fun pew pewing =) what do you think folks??

I think atm an event requires a gm to run it, but just recently in the news and announcement topic is a post about events and automating it so what your talking about may very well happen soon. Give it a read link is below

You might notice his server says Solaria... You might not know that Solaria conquests are one sided events to which serve no purpose.

Stop crying and goto your mummy, get a stronger clan to beat us, if you cant handle being beaten all the time.. then why goto the CQs in the first place.

The only reason Solaria CQ's seem one sided is because the only clan competent enough to put up a decent fight, month after month was TTW. Who, after many months as our enemy chose to become an ally of ours. Put up, or shut up! If your clan is good enough to take us down, please do. I'm getting tired of giving away planets for free just to pass the goodies around to everybody with a complaint.

DB if you want to have a clan vs clan CQ, I'll give it to you. We will leave all our allies out of the game and just S.O.B. vs WOW can play it out. If you win, I'll salute and thank you for a good battle. If you lose, you do the same.

I am all giddy inside. When you say S.O.B. vs W0W, this means that all of your PE members etc. aren't just going to join SOB, right?

PS: I don't want a free planet, I just don't want 6 clans clobbering us when we're trying to get a good fight going. Moomoo's do a lot of damage, not to mention split up the players making it harder for us to eliminate them as the elimination of a CQ ship removes few. D:
