I am having same problem with client now. Will not open at all but creates a 7kb launcherlog.txt file in Splitscreen/Pirategalaxy directory.
I have submited tickets along with the log file and they tell me to do as I have already done.....uninstall client, re download and install. On top I also run CC cleaner, antivirus etc etc. Reboot modem/router/PC. Also I have tried install fresh client on another PC which has never had PG installed and get same problem.
I can log in on browser but has severe lag, and freeze up and cause freeze of my PC.
When is it that someone figure out so many have same issues in all parts of the world that the problem is not and individual PC but that of Server/SS...??????
How do I recoup real money I have spent for member/cry vault/ etc....when game is not accessible let alone playable !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
If SS is not able to employ competent people to make right, or not willing to do what is necessary to make game functional, then either make it completely free, take no money, or close it down. IMO this is false advertising and thievery to take money from folks then not provide services which monetary funds are received for.
Quit blaming your consumers/customers, and fix the problem or stop selling what you are unable to deliver!
