I have noticed a lot of clan jumping going on to allow people to get tech in Sirus that their usual clan would not have access to. I am not a fan of this and would never do it myself. If I am to get new tech I want to do it with my clan.

I have a suggestion. If you cancel your membership to a clan and immediately join another clan, you cannot fly to Sirus for a set number of days, say 5. This would not completely stop clan jumping for this reason but would make it not that attractive of an option.

this is a great idea. i think sirius is very bad for clan loyalty and takes the fairness out of the game by turning it in an arms race.

Hello Hody,

I off course agree to your remarks. But It is the clan leaders that make jumping possible. There would be no clan jumping for tech If leadership would not allow it. Simple.

On the other hand, we have been struggling for months and months to find the Sirius ship off our liking. A Myst, or at least a Punisher. And it is not about the fact that they have te same armour or not. It is about being able to make a choice. Well we never found it. And chances are so slim to get that ship, I do understand why people jump clan when they have a chance to get that ship BP. Even I would jump clan to finally get that ship.

It is stupid and frustrating being forced to search forever for a ship. Can you blame people for joining another clan in this situation? After almost a year of jumping to planet after planet, I think I have to just throw the towel. And follow a lot off budies to another game. Enough is enough.

cya around.

Maybe a easy sollution for all ( us player / gms / devs. ) is just put 5 diferent jump ships:

1. Jump Ship Class "E" price = 75k cryo range - normal like today
2. Jump Ship Class "D" price = 150k range - 25% bigger
3. Jump Ship Class "C" price = 300k range- 50% Bigger
4. Jump Ship Class "B" price = 600k range - 75% Bigger
5. Jump Ship Class "A" price = 2 Millions( or more ) range- ALL SIRIUS

And really we finish this bored problem about clan jumpers just for techs. No more comments like "oh blame the clan admiral or Captain they have the control about this" or "oh this clan start use a public instance in 5 ring planet making a sqd with someone outside sirius".

Sure is just a idea.

P.S maybe old player's return to this game, and less player left this game all the days.

But some pilots jump from one fleet to another in they're alliance to get the tech, then you still have your clan loyalty as you are playing always with your alliance mates...

I really like Oggro's idea. Yeah 2mill is a little pricey, but it would be worth it. I'd really love to see that being a jumpship feature.

Ace Flyer it is not cruel it is a clan's decision whether they allow it or not and to be honest people using clans to get the tech that want is selfish and destroy's clan loyality. Don't know how much you know about sirius or if you've actually got there as your level on here says 45. If i'm understanding Oggro's suggestion correctly it does seem like a very interesting idea. Starchaser also makes a very good point. Trouble is we all have free will which is likely why the devs haven't put in a system to stop clan jumping. A lot of us do not agree with the practice but we cannot force others to feel the same.

Just my perspective on this...

This just proves my point it's personal preference whether or not people disagree with it. It all comes down to Choice.

Do you think it's good if i rush the SMs a bit?
And btw, sometimes when the story missions gets to hard the Sirius clan in my alliance don't care about it so sometimes it makes me angry. And i know as a captain i can't ask to much, but it's just...

As a player that has returned to the game after almost 2 years I thought I give my 2 cents here.

I can understand the cry for clan loyalty, and I probably won't clan jump for tech myself, but be realistic. Sirus is made in such a way that unless you always have enough people online and in Sirus you can't do there.
When I am online I am waiting for clanmembers to get online in the hope to join their squad to lvl up and find some bp's. In my Draconis ship I have no place in Sirus on my own. Because all the others are lvl 85 in pimpedships  , there is no atraction for them to do rings 1-3 anymore.

The is a second reason why I can understand clan jumping. This game hasn't got a large active memberbase and with clansize limited to 25(non gold) the chance of many people online is limited too.

If you hate that your members clanjump, don't accept them back. Otherwise deal with it. This is after all a game. Splitscreen has already forced us to join clans to even play in sirus, you can't expect everybody to be loyal when they are forced to clan up :devilish:

We in DT, still stand very strong with our opinions, to DT No clan/tech jumps, from DT, No tech/clan jumps, not even allys.
If by case anyone leave clan after tech, they have no coming back.

New members in DT are on trial, and in hope of joining DT for any possible Sirius tech you will not be happy to hear that new members are the very last of the list to get any tech there, no matter if needed, but could be a very long waiting and if planet blows before, then too bad.

Jumping Clans - OH NO THIS IS TERRIBLE

I saw a pilot jumping clan once -
he died 7 days later

Seriously. why would it really matter.

The only reason you guys get angry about clan jumper is because they have it '' easier '' than you
Well good for them.

If Multiple admirals allow them to clan jump; why would they stop.

I think you guys are complaining about it because you are jealous.

You pilots are sad.

So primitive; '' he has better bigger blasters than me BOUHOU - i want too. ''
Lets put a post in the forum and cry about it.

Its totally useless;

There is nothing to cry about

Stop crying in the forum - be useful and go drop a Giza; Get your tech faster and jump to another planet already.

Its a game; and you guys are worried more about what everybody else is doing than yourself.

Wake up.

Play; Have Fun; Smile; Reach Your Goals; ---- It's a game that only you can play for yourself.

You make the decisions

And if your admiral is making Decisions you don't like; than what are you doing there. Change clan dude. Make one.

And if theres nothing you can do about it - crying in the forum won't help.

No one cares.

i don't rlly care about that if someone from my clan jumps for tech or not... i just say my own comment, if u want to stop the clan-jumping, just don't allow 'em to jump.. and u will stop clanjumping in ur clan. if some1 wants to jump, then let him but don't allow ppl in ur clan.. simple thing ;) and yes Monkey, i agree w/ ya, not much ppl cares bout that if someone jumps or not.. he can do it, but... i hate ppl who just doin clanjumping and he thinks that he is the best and so on... that ppl shouldn't be allowed to do like that :p
