There are buildings in missions from Vega all the way to Draconis. However, it isn't until Antares that buildings start to get HP, and this only happens in missions. In mizar, in the last missions "fighting the colossus", we get to shoot the mutilator building, and it has all blasters in it. So my idea is how about we get access to them and we get to use them in CQ planets? This could lead to some sort of tower defense, but making them expensive solves that problem. Also bring different kinds of buildings, like mine buildings, that increase cryonite, turrets that automatically shoots enemy targets. You can imagine more.
