brightness option

i would like to see a new option in option-menu like a brightness and/or gamma slider.
reason, when it's night in the game it's verry hard to fly in some area's like the small corridoors at Earth close to second energy-field,
being able to increase brightness and/or gamma would help alot.

i have bin talking to Delloda about it. this was his awnser :

yes, we can make that option avalible in-game if more people feel the need for it.

so plz post here and/or ask gm for it.

This only happens when it's Night in the game.
So yes, I am PRO/contra Brightness Option.

It is only really a Problem on some laptops & some older desktops. On Laptops & desktops you may increase the Brightness and contrast easily, though a control would also be nice is not always feasible

well i edited desktop brightness but still dark at ingame night and all my other games and my desktop looks like a light-show, so i just put it back to normal.
by the way: this is the only game i ever play'd that does not have a brightness option!!! might make u wonder why it aint in this game, and it aint hard to make and wont take much time either -_^

id like an option to toggle the sound effects off, not just the music
the sound fx can get a bit annoying sometimes...

Go to the monitor settings and set Gama to a bit higher. This is the best way to brighten your map.
Color and Brightness do very little tp help in the night time screens. But adjust it very slowly or you might need sunglasses to play on earth in daylight...

I think this option needs to be added, if you play not only PG and you change your whole PC, then you need to change it back for other games. So a brightness option is the best sullition.

i am useing a vista desktop computer... so not sure if you consider this OLD or not but i have the same problem.
i have tryed brightness and gamma or what ever its called and on some planets every thing still remains very black.
*maybe an option to disable day/night changing would be best... day and night doesn't seem to effect any thing other then how dark it is any way.*

same problem on earth here..

brightnes n contrast set to the highest already still cant see diddlydoo at earth night time..

why dont u make more day time then night time in the game.. or longer ones..

planets look beautifull in day time.. i mostly find myself flying in the dark.. on any planet..

I must agree here, I use Vista and same issue. Also Terasa has very dark places where it is hard to see at night time.
Earth problems as well, and many other planets who are not white.
I support this idea, and if Delloda told it's not a big deal to add, so why make it harder for ppl to mess with their monitor settings as they can really get it bad messed if they don't know what to do.

I never suggest people to mess with computer, monitor settings, unless they are 100% aware of what they are doing.

I want that option!
