Has blaster accuracy been tinkered with? 12 shots at a 52 assasin even with aim comp activated? Surely not? And if so why does the aim scrambler bp not afford that level of cover when fitted to a player ship??? let's have some balance please...if it takes me 12 attempts to hit then surely said assasin must be using (extremely) rare aim scrambler (I don't need it but surely said assasin must be using super-tech)...but no...nothing drops. Oh well, buy more gold, buy more e. Ramp up the usage rate and annoy everyone including long term, cash paying players. Is this connected to the reduced prices in item shop or just coincidence?? Sell it cheaper but make it less effective. If so then hopefully the hit rate will improve once prices return to normal. As if!!!

Nothing got altered. Bear in mind some times lag can cause this but it's not always the case.

Aim Computer effects get disabled by aim scrambler, just like the speed actuator won't affect you when you are stunned.

iv noticed i miss alot no matter what mantis it is and what lvl, i miss more with sol blaster then i did the top none rare earth blasters, anyway i no longer spend any cash on this game anymore till i feel im gettin my moneys worth

its cos its true the sol blaster misses loads plus it fires at a slower rate than normal blasters too, if i buy 1 million e i must loose 300 thousand of it on misses i miss that much,the only time you should ever really miss a shot is if the mantis/player has aim scrambler

i THINK THAT ACCURACY SHOULD BE 100% hit but 35% hit IF player HAS AIMSCRAMBLER

by any chance do you use a storm, you will get lots of crit shots with aim pc, try use ggb on an engineer and tell me you crit alot , the hit % with blasters is a joke at the moment, its never been this bad it started when sol was opened, DEVS up the hit % cos it isnt right and im sick of wasting my cash on e when im wasting 3rd to a 4th of it on missed shots, just cos you think it looks right on the coding doesnt mean it is, look at sol attack charge, you at ss thought it was ok but it wasnt so please get it fixed, you got all theses new amazing things planned and you aint fixed the old broken things yet iv got a list of bugs that i can think of off my head that have been there for ages. 1, my attack droid still gets attacked my story mantis 2, my orbital strike still hits me or my attack droid in pvp, 3, the hit % for blasters is far too low 4, the second blast on orbital stike never ever hits anything, and its not lag so please dont give me its my computer and my connection cos as soon as sol opened it all started, iv got nearly 800 pounds worth graphics power 2x ati 5980, quad core i7 at 3.4gig, 8gig ddr3 2000, and 200gig ssd hard drive so as you can see my pc is prob better than the pc the game was designed on, and iv got 50meg optical internet which the optical line goes all the way to Strasbourg in france which is not too far off the server, so please please please tell me why i can miss 6 shots in a row on a lvl 28 havister and this happens all the time, weather this is a bug or not IT NEEDS TO BE MADE BETTER, i feel sorry for them player that got to spend a week collecting cryo just to play the game 2 mins before they run out e again, the e caps need to be higher, splitscreen there must be a better why to make cash other then selling e, why dont you sell visual upgrades to ships, like different engine trail colour or different shape hull designes for each class off ship in each system, this in no way gives any advantage to paying customers, why not sell ship pattens like the fusion and antimatter pattens you get with membership but you keep it not loose it after 30 days but that patten is stuck to that 1 ship you buy it for, if you want to put it on another ship you got to re buy it, all you guys are doin is hopeing e and boosters will bring in the cash and it wont cos the membership sucks the e is way over priced and the boosters are a joke, give us more customisation and you will find we will pay for it, and yes i know as you say you got little cash and little staff and all this takes time to code and do, but i dont care thats your problem, if you want to make cash you got to give the customer what they want, and if you want the game to grow not have players come and go cos they are bored silly off wasting half there time collecting e, then do as your customers ask(within reason) or you will end up with a game that looks nice and shiney with what ss like in it but with no players cos ss was too stubbon to give it to the paying customer and what they want, iv got 2 companies 1been goin 8 years that sells moblie phones and the other a limo service that been goin 5 years so i know business and i know how to make them work, and weather it an online company or not the rules are still the same, so listen to someone that knows and stop bein so stubbon people will always pay cash to make there ship or whatever look better and different to all the others


and if you cant read this post or my full stops are in the wrong place then dont moan about it just dont read it and move on problem solved

Mate? did you just cut and paste this from the other thread and added a bit about aiming to it?!? All points have been answered in old and recent ones like the other thread you posted in.

lol i like commers lol and not quiet full copy and paste but nearly. just ignore me when i rant mate i do it from time to time its nothing personal to splitscreen i just get fed up sometimes lol

Your text blocks own. They smack you in the face and you need 3 cups of high caffeine coffee to be able to read them! ^^

But sometimes it gives the wrong impression to people because some of the things you talk about are actually fixed or are coming soon!

I find two things with blasters... and indeed, most weaponry in general in the game.

POINT ONE:
It is possible to have a REALLY bad aiming day. It's a chance, hit or miss folks. That's how the program is.
I used my Leveling Gold on E when I was bored. ^^ Didn't get too much out of it on that day. Rats!
We all miss sometimes you know. :p

POINT TWO:
O_O I have noticed that if you bring a weapon to bear upon something that is a significantly lower rank than you are, you have a tendency to miss a little more. Perhaps this is such that you don't all storm those earlier systems in your X-snipers and whatnot.
Or perhaps it's just POINT ONE in action at coincidental times! ^^

POINT THREE: o_O I can't even explain how many criticals land during a vega CQ. That vega vendetta blaster is definitely packing a far higher critical percentage then the blasters preceding it.
I notice this less with the Gemini Geiger Blaster... but only when I'm in gemini...
THEREFORE~
Could enemies in the higher systems have a fair deal of resistance to a critical hit?
Better aimcomputers may fare better against said resistance, if it exists.

Or it could just be POINT ONE in action again... I can't say.

Have you tried donning a substandard blaster (just for a good kick ^w^) in recent days?
Perhaps you should. It's critical rating is off the freaking walls. (If you try it on vega 1. This remains untested upon other planets).

Remember those vega days, when you heard that musical "pphhmmmm!" so often?
Saw the brilliant flash and wondered, "Gee, what is that heralding?"
Compare it to how little you see of it now. The better the blaster, the lower the critical rating? That's what the visual elements that I can pick up on are telling me.
Nobody can truly say for certain. However, what we do know is that we certainly nailed those critical hits in the last system with that systems aimcomputer... and sometimes without it.
So is it related to our weapon power?
Or does the key to this lie in POINT THREE?
Or is it just POINT ONE in action again, again-again?

I've added my musings for you to ponder. Call me a noob if you wish. (I'm in gemini... so I'm new. Lol ^^)
But I've only placed what I have noted upon this board for your consideration. It's all based around coding that I don't truly know, so don't choose to believe any of it just on my say-so. Someone who knows more about this has to be the one to tell you if Point One is not the answer!

I just listen to my senses. I haven't been to Sol. The above may or may not apply there.
But Point one, will always apply. That's where my beliefs lie as of the current date and time.

Wolfie - Once missed 19 shots in a row. My friend lol'ed himself into a coma. ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^

you make some good points, but what we are tryin to say is we never used to miss this much till sol opend, you would think with higher level blasters you would hit more not less but it seems the other way around, but this missing alot of shots only seems to affect some players which my lead splitscreen to believe its lag, but on my part it is no way down to lag, i dont suffer from lag in any way in pirate galaxy or any other game
