Today a couple of mates asked me to go along as escort outside of squad on moon missions. I agreed and we set off - eventually meeting up with stupid Wallace who was for once not sitting motionless in his cockpit in a stupor… and actually followed them to where they were supposed to take out the turrets.

Good so far. Excellent in fact – half of the time Wallace refuses to go anywhere.

However, once they approached the area I set about clearing the non-mission mantis and … here’s where it gets strange… as I was killing the imperial snipers and assassins, they would immediately respawn.

I looked around for a nearby ressurector and couldn’t find one.

Then orbital strikes rained down. What the heck? No signors were in the area, either.

I cleared the area again - and guess what? Another respawn. As I set about killing them for a third time - I realized that the non-mission mantis were getting matted by the mission mantis. And.. the orbital strikes that were whacking my butt - were from the mission signors.
Which I find very odd… considering I wasn’t in the mission.

Supposedly the hotfix will attend to this, but I don’t see it listed in the proposed changes.

Should it not get fixed at this time pilots should be wary when escorting outside of missions and aware of the perils when minding their own business - and story mission mobs approach.

this is an old one, im surprised it hasn't been fixed. I had this problem with the very first mission on earth. I was not in a squad, someone was doing the first mission with the Death squads that are near the lz, and every time i killed something the ressurector in the mission ds would mat it, but obviously i couldn't do anything about it.

I think the mission is meeting morbod, not sure. (

Hefesto,

Will get back to you mate. I helped several people that day on the moon and don't recall who did what mission.. lol.
I'll have to check with the pilots I escorted and get back to you. Thanks for responding so quickly.

Lool
