AUTO PILOT PLZ!!!

THERE SHOULD BE AN AUTO PILOT!!!imagine how happy you could be if u just click on a button or something on your tactical map and click where you want to go an your ship starts taking the quickest/safest route to that location! Now that's an idea !it could make story missions like testing aggro much easier! especially since missions like that are on planets on a very low system! You could go do something while your ship travels to where you need to be! trust me, it'll be worth your time!

no way. part of this game is that you have to fly it yourself. an auto pilot feature would take tons of programing and constant alterations. they whould have to program in a human mind for each ship. it would take years of work and take away from the game. and those are just two obvius reasons. are you sure that rank is accurate? This sound like something a rank 3 would sugest because their fingures hurt.

I kind of agree with ty1101. The current auto pilot is atrocious, and if they can't fix it, Split Screen should just remove it. The programming, at least in concept is not hard. Set up an 'array' of the map and then recursively call the autopilot function until the correct route is found...then fly it. As for the argument that it is not in the ''spirit of the game" we auto dock at the hangar, auto land, and auto interplanetary travel, and their already is an auto pilot...So why not make it work.

The only part I disagree with ty on is the 'safest' comment. If you're dumb enough to leave the computer, you're dumb enough to get killed while you're not there, but I still agree with the fastest statement.
