Am I Understanding This Correctly . . .

I am not trying to create a big issue or cause serious problem for anyone. But, am I understanding this correctly . . . GM's are not actual employees of SplitScreen, but fellow players . . . with the power to jail me, allow or cause slander to my name, and ban me from the game? Not an actual employee? Are none of the people that respond to others within this media employed by SplitScreen?

By what authority do these individuals operate? Are they given any form of training? Do they know or have they been informed of Consumer Protection laws? Some of these people conduct themselves as though they have authority to speak for SplitScreen as thoough they hold a position of authority within the company, but do they? And, of more serious concern . . . how much access to my personal information do these people have? What liabilty do these people have relative to their conduct and actions?

As demonstrated by the post made by survivol in which he calls me a "cheat" that got away, how did he get access to this information. Why haven't I been provided such information? And, if such information has been provided other players, about other players, by other players . . . where is the integrity of this system? Furthermore, where is the appropriate response from an appropriate level representative of SplitScreen?

And, for survivol . . . you are an idiot. Not only have discussed a topic of which you clearly have no idea of what you speak. But, you have also done so in a public media exposing yourself, the applicable GM's, and SplitScreen to a wide variety of legal actions. You have demonstrated the lack of integrity within this management system and the game itself. And, you have proven yourself a person with access to information not made available to others, that all others do not have access to. NOT A PRETTY POSITION FOR YOU!

I am employed by splitscreen as the English product manager and to put it in relative terms, I am considered a rank higher than Blob was when Pirate Galaxy was under gamigo's control. By saying that you have not been given appropriate responses by an approriate level representative of splitscreen is a clear insult to me. All employees of splitscreen work 50+ hours a week, Monday to Friday, so don't expect immediate replys on weekends.

GM's are experienced players who are employed, by me, on behalf of splitscreen to aid and provide information to players as I cannot be ingame 24/7. The are currently unpaid and do it for their love of the game. They are either experienced in GMing or are trained by experienced GM's and operate under my supervision and my written guidelines and codes of conduct.

I conducted the investigation, I gathered the evidence with help from my GM team, the engineers plugged the server vulnerability and ultimately, I banned all guilty pilots. You may trust the word of your banned friends that they did not cheat, I trust the hard evidence that i have on each of the guilty parties. I will not show the evidence publically and to do so would just embaress them and the people that are defending them.

People may be assuming that you were cheating by the way you persistantly defend cheaters and the hacker in this game. Yes, there was only one hacker but many cheaters. Everyone was investigated and every account that we had 100% concrete evidence on, we banned in accordance to our terms and conditions. We operated well within European consumer laws and will always continue to do so.

I will investigate who this "insider" is when i get back to the office on Monday since if he is an insider, he/she was broken our NDA agreement by spreading unsubstatiated information in order to slander a player and will be suitably and severly punished. My puinishment for any GM's breaking any of our rules, regulations and codes of conducts is banning of GM account and banning of their player account too.

To be honest, I am getting tired of writing essay reponses to you which require me to repeat the facts to you over and over. They are wasting my time since you do not reply to my responses and just start new threads saying the same unsubstantiated nonsense about legal action and mismanagement, which you clearly know nothing about. If you are are so unhappy that the cheaters got banned, you are well within your rights to stop playing otherwise please deal with it and move on. The banned accounts will not be reactivated.

I do not know how you perceived this thread as having anything to do with the Banned List/Wall Of Shame. This thread simply asks about who is running things, an actual employee or a volunteer. You could of simply put answer by sayinng you are an actual SplitScreen employee and you would look into things.

On a more personal note: Delloda, I have no issue with you. You treat your customers appropriately, as you see need to. You neither insult, threaten, nor take hostile pose when using this media to communicate with others (although, I wassn't pleased with your invitation to leave if I don't like it). Nothing I have ever said has ever meant to discredit or offend you and I apologize if you have perceived such.

Thank you for your time and patience in all responses you have made to me. And, thank you for your professional conduct in dealing with others.

Everything said can be rooted to the hacking situation. I didn't invite you to leave, I said you are well with your rights to do so. If I have offended you in any way, please accept my apology.

As i said, I will investigate this "insider" situation when I get back to the office on Monday with the same zeal as I had with the hack investigation. We do not tolerate this type of behavior and punishments will be severe.

You are an asset to the game and the forums and your opinion does matter to us, as does every players.
