Account glitch

ok im lvl 8 and im missing a main story mission with is making it to were i can not get the story line over and i do not have a chat function if i try to talk to a pilot vea clicking on there ship and open chat it would not show up but they would see i want to talk to them this has happen to multiple of my account over and over

Well it seems you might be waiting for a chat popup window, your private chat function doesn't open up any popup chat window, it is located at the main chatbar, use the arrow key to open up the chat scrollbar, and check what chats you have available.

There is:
Public (Chat normal white color)
Clan (If you belong to a clan, text will be in purple)
Alliance (If you belong to an Alliance, chat will be dark-blue)
Private (Private chat has a color orange I think on name)

Also if you click on the button what the arrow shows in my screenshot, then the chat window will have a popup.
This bar is located on the bottom bar above the ship items.



For the Story Missions, have you been reading the Mission Bulletin with care? located at the top left corner
( Use Ctrl to open it up) The mission bulletin usually has the continuation written, and instructions of what to do.
How is it you have multiples accounts with same "bug", are they on same server the accounts?
If you have 2 SS or 2 Gamigo accounts on same server, it will bring problems with the accounts probably.
