A103 BEAGLE DRONE

As I've got this drone during one week, the only thing I got to do is charging energy to it, but i haven't seen a single blueprint that other pilots without drone could not see. I've talked to other pilots with that drone and nobody have seen also.

¿Anyone has seen this Drone working a single time? ¿Does a sound or advice when the drone shows a hidden blueprint (as when you bought the bp improvement)?

15% isn't much..if you had to kill 100 mantis..just an example...it would be like killing 93 instead. Thats why I did math and seen it wasn't worth all the work to get it. And I believe the wording was UP TO 15%

It's more than 100 mantis because not each gives a blueprint, would be more accurate to say you must get 100 bp's to see if it works, but in one week i've seen more than 50 bps with no results.

it gets 3 more % per level, so only at level 5 will it have 15% booster, and its not mantis count, its bp drop.

So say 100 bps drop... you should see 15 of them that others without any booster couldnt see. and yes it does work. mines only 9% booster and I have seen some others havent.

All I wanted to know, was if someone had some bps from the drone, because I haven't already.
I've got two drones bought for two of my ships both at levl 4 (12%) and still haven't got luck.

I agree, it is very hard to notice if that dron does anything.

On the numbers people : statistically you would have to shoot a lot more mantis to notice the difference.
If you want to say with reasonable certanty that this thing works. You would need to shoot a sample of 384 mantis using no drone. Count the amount off BP"s that drop. That gives u close to 95% reliability and accuracy on the droprate.

After that, shoot the same amount of mantis using the drone. Count the amount of BP's that drop And after 384 mantis u can conclude (with appr. 95% reliablity) if the drone does it's job.

It is basic statistics. You cannot draw a conclusion from 100 mantis or 100 bp's > Statistics is a sience.
I used it a lot during market research projects.

Now, if I would sell an item like this, I would add a little extra when that extra Drone BP drops. If possible make it show some sparkles or stars so a player notices that this extra BP is a 'Beagle Drone BP). That way you keep your customer satisfied. Off course that means a little extra programming.

On the Armour Drone > same thing. Who ever can tell if you really are stronger with the drone? Maybe test it. Shoot a mizar ship with a gem blaster and count. Using a Blaster from mizar would be less accurate or less noticable, because the blaster not always does same damage. Count the amount of hits needed and see if there is a difference when using the drone.

Well we in our clan does also wonder if the drone ever will hit the time where it grabs the effect.

I´m the onliest pilot in our clan who uses the BP Drone (but only cause i have no def drone and my attack drone can´t get more then 1% or bonus). And since i use the drone the BPs was everytime normal (and it where already more then 100 bps). So the feeling is that maybe every 500th or maybe 1000th bp will be the one which is droped by the drone...

After the 150th bp i stoped to count anymore drops cause they where everytime normal or booster drops which i can´t see so or so.

What the def drone belongs the effect is so minimal that it not really is noticed. Maybe it will be noticed in lower systems but in the systems like drac and sir the effect is nearly zero... and i have the bad feeling that the newest drone which will come whit halloween event will be nearly the same just cause of the nearly "useless" %-tage effect.

I had maked an idea in the german forum where it should give in every system an sort of "Extra Missions" ,when you have finished every story and normal missions, where you can get (depending on the mission) an specified drone which gives an fix amount of bonus. http://forum.pirategalaxy.com/viewtopic.php?f=243&t=23024&p=140660#p140660

I've noticed one more thing about the Drone, this month I bought a 50% bp bonus, also I go with my Beagle Drone, in one ocasion I saw a bp in Sirius that no other allys could see, there were members with de 125% bp bonus but without the beagle drone that couldn't see that bp.
So it seems that 15% of Beagle Drone does not sum to any membership bp that you can buy it goes in a totally separate bonus.
