It is common knowledge that 99% of the pilots that are r85 are sitting around wondering about tau ceti... There are forum posts about it quite frequently and it doesn't take long in sirius public chat to hear discontent. All that i would like to ask the GM team and developers is for a small news post confirming that they are actually working on future systems. Although this post will most likely get ignored by the dev team, which is probably trying to buff up their newer games or just resting on their mounds of membership gold, it would be nice to hear something from people that aren't just giving conjecture.

TLDR; The devs need to give us a news article letting us know what has been happening in their attempts to create the next system. They are committing business suicide by not keeping us posted on their progress.

Hello,

The development team are continuing to work on all matters of the game, from bug reports, future updates, general fixes, and a lot of work that is done unfortunately is not always apparent.

A quick look at some of the posts where maintenance has been completed show things, for example: “Fixed a problem that could cause a client crash” something that pilots would only notice if indeed the client did crash.

We appreciate everyone’s patience in waiting for Tau Ceti to be released again, so please bear with the developers while they continue with their work allowing us to play this great game.

I am well aware that they make patches and fix the game and that was not the request. I wanted an update with perhaps some specifics of why tau ceti has taken over two years now to create. How long can it take to create a system when they can create and dispose of planets with new mechanics for the raven dynamics events? Essentially i am curious what issues with tau ceti itself could cause such an extended down cycle compared to the rest of the systems.

for some companies public relations in this case keeping customers informed seems to not b a priority. but i can see why because they are soo busy working on the game did u not see the awesome updates we get every week.

Is that sarcastic or just you being dumb? Let's take a look at the recent updates--shall we?
March 25
Fixed a bug that sometimes caused the automatic reconnect window to appear when logging out in an unsafe area.

March 18
Improved responsiveness of the in-game shop.
Improved sorting order of spaceships in the hangar.
Fixed a bug that could potentially cause intermittent login problems.

March 11
Fixed a bug that prevented the use of Sirius tech on battle planet Colossus.
Fixed a bug that enabled an exploit concerning the stun and protection skills.
Fixed a bug that would sometimes cause certain account status messages to be cut off.

So in three weeks, the only thing that really changed was...they fixed a tiny aspect of Colossus. The rest seems to be making the game look pretty (UI) and login problems that affect a tiny % of the players.

I loved this game for many years but after the Tau Ceti disaster and following slow development i just quited the game as many others did. Its obvious PG is not a priority anymore for Splitscreen.

But...Maybe Dakahn...It is good u made this post and woke them up, I saw this on their site.

I'm not interested in a pissing contest, but if you will indulge--it was a question. Try and answer it or post relevant information. Since I am an R85, let's assume I have played the game for at least a week. I'm quite aware the devs (and some GM's) need to put forth an effort to please the customers but again--this fails to answer the question. Are you at a lack of intelligence or was it simply sarcastic?
