AFK System

The new AFK system might need some tweaks. Emperor, a player from aurora was marked as AFK and consequently banned even though he collected 100+ ores. While it is true that he was not particularly active during the fights, his effort (collecting the majority of ores) should not be disregarded by the system.

Perhaps set a minimum amount of ores collected during the conquest that regular AFK players cannot reach.
PD: And, if possible, please give the affected pilot, emperor Server Aurora, the cryonite corresponding to the conquest he was in the winning team as I was, in addition to removing the penalty. I have attached the percentage at the end of the conquest.

Got the same issue today on Kalgan with me... One player on B team didn't land...
So with 5v4, almost no fight the ENTIRE conquest and at the end 5 players got tagged AFK including me...

Sure I was AFK, with more than 50 ores on me, sure I'm gonna fight on fight that don't happend because oposite team gave up at the begining... You know what I love more than that? Losing 45minutes on a boring CQ and receive a ban, no cryo and no gravi...

Currently on day 5 of waiting for support to reply to my ticket about this. I too got banned even tho I had huge ore and kill participation. I sent them a link to the video that proves it but no answer so far. I think they rather let a few ppl get banned and ignore them then debug/answer tickets at this point.

Oh I got my ban removed right in time for the Sol 55 OTB (it's one of my favorite so, yeah)
But yeah, response of the support is... meh... see for yourself...

We have removed your OTB/Conquest penalty.

This is the only time we can remove this. We are looking at improving the inactivity parameter in some upcoming updates.

Oh and of course, no need to tell you that even with proof of activity, I didn't receive any compensation for the time lost... Because yes my team won... With only 2 true fight during entire conquest...

And then you remember about the incoming skull update... Being considered AFK by the system while you're not is just awfull for the warscore ladder and gonna be an insane penalty...

So apparently, even without considering players on losing team gave up because there is no use to fight, and the fact almost all heat mode were on the same point wheremy team was... Apparently defending a point from an attack that will never come is just not enough to count as active... While having 55 ores... Yeah great system...

And now they sems to play dead on the forum instead of adressing the issue...

I’m really sorry this whole situation has been so frustrating for you. I understand why it feels unfair, especially with the recent AFK meter changes and how they can affect OTB even when you’re genuinely participating. It makes sense that you’d be disappointed after putting in the time and seeing the match play out the way it did.

About compensation, I want to gently clarify that we’re not able to offer anything for time lost in cases like this. The support team did review everything carefully, and lifting the full one-week ban was already an exception they made to help you out.

The updated AFK system has stricter requirements than before, and while you were active, it just didn’t meet the new OTB thresholds this time. It’s definitely not an ideal experience, and your feedback is completely understandable.

We can’t undo what happened, but concerns like yours really do help highlight where the system still needs improvement. Hopefully future updates will make situations like this much less common.
