so i was doing white missions for a while and i started thinking "what if white missions were always active?" that would make things alot easier instead of having to go back up into orbit select your mission go back down travel to the given location complete and repeat. so what if white missions were always active allowing you to complete them when ever you want. what i was thinking was every time you kill a mantis a little message will appear saying "kill mantis parasite 34% complete" "collect afterburner 2/4" something like that. what do you guy's think yay or nay?

not bad. but how this would work with higher system's ship?
would option to receive counted kills or bps for wm be offline if ship is from higher system?
same with squads, can squad member get kills counted and etc...

would be nice, but i have a feeling this wont happen since it would take lot of work to change current system :sneaky: ;)

your probably right it would take some work to change around the system. the wm would only be active for an individual player each player has there own wm progress, if in a squad player one would have "5/9 bps collected" while player two has only "2/9 bps collected". and as for higher lvl ships in lower areas i think only system ship should do system wms, maybe something more flexible im not really to sure of what tho.

this is very good, and if SS does not like this, atleast add outposts where you would be able to accept the next white mission.

I doubt if this will happen, because to my knowledge, info about current missions is stored on the server and not in your peronal history (which is why, if you log out for a certain length of time the mission becomes void).

As for outposts, they would probably be located near the lz so would make very little difference from going to orbit.

And lets face it...it could be worse...imagine if you had to fly to hangar to select next mission? Best leave sleeping dogs to lie :D
