Stun ship discrepancies

Ok, now we seem to have quite a few stun ships in Drac (after a long absence) can i ask if any stun pilots notice the amount of miss-hits occur when speed activator is running? I know the activator speeds up the rate of fire but it also seems to speed up the rate of misses, more than occur when the blaster is used normally. I think this needs addressing if it is a common problem as it reduces the effectiveness of the SA as an offensive weapon.

Secondly, you hardy stun pilots, have you noticed how certain mantis seem to be immune to stun to a certain degree. I have found that both the sab and the comm commanders seem to be fairly stun resistant in the initial engagement. Stun a sab by surprise and the sticky is attached immediately. stun a comm in the same way and the shield goes up or the stun is returned (or both) as quickly as they would if no stun had been used.

Thirdly, is it me or does the radius of dome effect seem smaller in PVE than PVP? To me it seems to be smaller.

anyway just some observations and wondering if any other stun pilots have noticed the same?

I remember it from sol, I bet draconis has the same issue.

Yes it does and very frustrating too. Anyway I want the stun way over-powered so all the tankies can complain. We should have your aim scrambler for a start. Is is clearly an electronic scrambling device and not what you would associate with an offensive-type ship :D :D

Or better still...allow the beacon to act as a marker so we can reland on it....much like the option given to land on squad leader...no more long trips to high lvl mantis for WM's :D now THAT would be a nice bp :D

Hi m8, well I can only relate your post to my rare (Easter) sol stun ship. It does seem to work fairly well but the rate of return stun by commanders is almost instantaneous. Stun dome does seem to have a good range on it though especially on the moon. Might take it to Gaz for a testing on sabos :p (BOOM!)

well refering to npcs using shields stuns etc... seems kinda logic they get to use charged equipment cause so do players ships. for example u get stunned u get to fire blaster or whtever if its charged then next charge is slowed but first is almost as fast as if not stunned + if not mistaken blk custodians (assume those are meant since shields are mentioned) have protectors and tht also may counter stun effect even if applied after stun.

there stuns cool-down is very low with the speed atc, so it's perfect balanced
