The GM Team is here to help with In-Game issues as much as they can, Listen to your Gripes & Complaints without any Prejudice, try to keep the Peace when all starts spiraling out of control. Please do not be afraid to approach any GM with any In-Game Problem. That is what they are here for.

Thank You to ALL the Pilots who recognise this & dont abuse the GMs. The Forums are here to express your Anger, your Frustrations, and Ideas to make the Game better. GMs will listen, Advise (as much as they can), and also help you if you feel something is wrong.


In light of the Issues that have cropped up in the past few days, the GMs have had lots on their Plates. The GM Team on all Servers have been MAJORLY Overwhelmed by complaints that would have been better posted here in the Forums. The GM Team does do all they can (sometimes more) for YOU, The Pilots of Pirate Galaxy.

The GM Team is not made from Bots. It is made From Pilots such as Yourselves & also deal with the same issues you have. They are NOT the Devs, but rather a Way of contacting the Devs or Admins, should the Need Arise, They are also Pilots in PG so have the added strain of the same Issues you all have.

Darned tootin' right =) I have to say all the Gms I've met so far are good people and like a laugh :O they are helpful too and can be strict if they need to be. Respect the GMs people, they have a hard job keeping all of us in line :)

It's good they are as patient as they always have been or the whole of PG woulda been banned long ago I think ^.^

Thankyou for making the game a better place to be in and sorting out the things you do :) well done. Hope you have fun and are well all of ya, because the game would definately not be the same with out you that's for sure.

I couldn't agree with you more I come from the "Aeria" server an we were with out ANY Gm staff for 6 months "Aeria" left us there alone in the coldness of space to our own devises Now that SS has taken over Things are Better than ever we all get that warm fuzzy feeling when ever a Gm logs in YAY GM"S !!!!!

Yeah, they're VERY resorseful, and loads of fun. :mrorange: With Game masters around pirate galaxy will be successful, well... Already is!

Big up to all GM's. They walk a lonely path and rightfully deserve the respect of all players. :D :D :D

I do not quite agree on this matter.
I've played this game since July 09, and over 90% of the cases where I needed help, I got the same answer over and over again. (i.e. "submit a ticket to support"). ..... ?!!! Huh??? What kinda help is THAT??

On one occasion I even got a half-arrogant stupid answer, where the GM tried to turn my question around, and made it sound like I didn't know what I was talking about.
Regardless, I've come to the point where I've stopped asking GM's any questions. Cos it's the same useless answer every time! (i.e. "submit a ticket to support").

And the questions they DO know the answers to (i.e. are allowed to answer), are so low level, that it can be answered by any veteran-player!

Most of the time Questions that require you to submit a ticket a GM cannot answer. These usually consist of Bugged Missions, Missing BPs/gold/cry, Technical Support, You get my drift.

These Things cannot be answered by the GMs as they lack the knowlage on the most part. Im not saying that we no nothing because some of us do.

If you ask where to find certain BPs we wont answer those questions on the whole because that is interfering with the players gameplay and "taking the fun" out of the game

To be honest as a GM we get alot of attacks off the players and they are for the most, hurtful, vicious, unessacary and totally uncalled for.

If you dont agree then maybe you should try to think for a minute what we really do for this game.

We test the missions, we do help where we can, we make sure that you potty mouths ( you know who you are ) are kept in check, and even do our best to keep the game hacker free.

We do this for no payment, we are just pilots that felt as if we should give something back. Its Voluntary, It takes our game time up so we dont play as much as some people do, and in some cases more recently, dont get any time at all to keep up with the rest of the players.

Now reading this do you think we have it easy and just ask you to submit a ticket coz it makes us feel better.

No we try to help where we can and if we cant then we ask you to submit a ticket, we like to be able to help, that is why we became GMs.

Just have a think about what it would mean to you if the GMs just dissapeared. Never came back. You would have no intial contact to the devs. Then you would find real trouble coz you wouldnt even get the respose "please submit a ticket.

Basically what he's trying to say Bozen is that the GMs ARE veteran players, they aren't programmres or one of the game highly skilled techno wizzes. GMs = Game Master, and it means just what it says, nothing more or less.

If they tell you to submit a support ticket it's cuz they just can't deal with the problem at the time. eing a GM is not always easy or fun so cut tehm some slack or I'll cut you loose :D hehe.

GMs make the Milkyway go 'round so don't mock 'em or they get their sudden death button out O.O

A) :3 I do believe the GM's deserve our respect. (at least) They're normal folks who signed up to help you. :p Amirite? That deserves respect. ^w^
B) Tickets don't sound very useful at first, I know. However, after having to lead a player-organized bug-hunting movement on another web-game, I've come to the conclusion that tickets are useful, but only if detailed. x3

c) :eek: If something bad has happened, the GM's aren't to blame. If you tell them about a bug, they'll gladly come to witness it. However, I think there's some merit in saying that given the accessibility of the GM-TEAM clan roster, and the plentiful amount of players on PG, that they might get uberspammed and overloaded if we called upon them too often.
Best way to go about such complaints is to create a single forum thread, complete with images and a nice explanation. (Getting numerous folks to stick to a single thread can be a nightmare! D: )
Don't misunderstand me though. :3 Exploitable bugs are best shown to somebody... D: Those are nasty. I'm not certain that this game even has any of those (thank yer devs. Srsly. xD 1 hit ko bugs aren't fun when replicable/exploitable). But if it's something ubersevere (like a bug for infinite energy or something), those are... a little different? :p I'm sure you know what I mean. That's the sorta thing I might call upon a GM to witness, as given that energy sells, such a bug would be a pretty gnarly problem for SS studios. Those servers don't maintain themselves you know! xD That costs money!

D) Would this game be quite as fun if the GM's told you where everything was? :) I, personally, took on Lustra in a heavy transport. Yeah, that's right. I could get two hitted by rocketeers. :3 But that was... thrilling. Finding the Ion Blaze Blaster (mantis Frenzoids drop them more than barbarians... wish I'd known that back then) was very rewarding. xD
E) Punch a problem you're having into the forum searchbar first. Sometimes you can find yer problem. Especially if it's blueprints. ;) Other times... notsomuch, but still right? Give it a shot.

Best not to bug them unless it's srs, but that doesn't mean they don't enjoy chatting with a planet full of players! xD If they're about, who doesn't like to be a goofball? :3 They like jokes just as much as the next guy.

Crystalwolf contacted GM's over Energy related bugs in the past, and once after someone threatened to "hack his account." That was pretty much it. That aside, it was mostly read-at-leisure notification.

Lastly, being that players in the current location of the wolfie on the web contact him with their gripes more than they contact that places GM's, I can totally see how one might go a little bit batty after Chat-wave 1-9000+. I feel yer pain guys. xD

i agree 100% gms try all they can to help and take care of our problems so dont blame them if something happens

Applying to FM & GM!

I want to remind everyone who has applied, or might apply to be an FM or GM, please remember that you are not to tell anyone you doing it.

First rule break as a maybe future one, you are not allowed to give out your player/s account ID to anyone.
You are not to gab to other players ingame or anywhere that you've applied to be one.
No matter if you've done it in another account, you are the same person having those accounts,
so it is still breaking the rule.

If you can't keep silence about this issue before becoming one, then you are not fit to be one,
as you can't hold things for yourself, and thats the most important part of being an FM or GM.
and: If you are interested, you do not post it at public forum in any time, all questions should be directed in pm aka private message to me, or to Astraeus.
Also you need to be 18+ years old and be an experienced player in order to have knowledge of all systems preferably in order to be able to be helpful.

Hi Pilots,

I have been reading this post and yes we do get a lot of stick from pilots in game and often its something we cant help with or when you come into the support chat, we have maybe 5 or so pilots already waiting.

Yes we do have fun as GM's and we do have a laugh with all of you in one way or another, but again please we are just normal people like all of you, we also find problems and bugs in the system.

We all do what we can, using the knowledge we have gained in game as pilots and also from the feedback we have got from you, the pilots.

Nothing makes us feel more apprechiated than when we help or offer advice on something and for a pilot to return later and say, "hey i tried that hint, it worked, I just wanted to say Thank you"

So after the recent problems with server's etc and bugged this and that, Thank you for being patient with all of the GM staff we do our best to help you, the pilots
