There is a major problem with E cells, i fly a fusion engi and it eats E like MAD!(LOL), the problem is that my E runs out quickly and i am then forced 2 spend a eon filling at the nearest safe spot, why dont we nearly take this problem out of the equasion by having all E cells set at:
Vega system:300E per cell
Antares system:600E per cell
Gemini system:900E per cell
Mizar system:1200E per cell
Sol and beyond:1500E per cell

i hope you all agree with this :mrorange:

lol you aint got a chance, if e was like that then no one buy e from the cash shop, i do agree thou for players that play for free the game is a boring grind all you do is collect e for 30 mins then play for 5 mins the collect for 30 mins and so on, splitscreen really need to come up with another way to make cash and make it so everyone has unlimited e. iv hered aloads of ppl on different forums say this game is great but they cant be bothered to spend hours collecting e so they have not bothered to play the game anymore, iv said a list of items splitscreen could sell and make lots of cash on loads of time but they dont seem to listen to what us players want, i just guess free to pay players will just have to spend 2/3 of there playing time collecting e or find another game as i cant see the e thing ever changing

ok i understand that E is a good source of income for the game... so here is more like what it should look like.

Vega system: 40-85
vega needs to be boosted a lot because e farming scares people away before they even get a level 10 ship. >.>

Antares system: 75-120

Gemini system: 100-175(200?)

Mizar system: ???-???
Sol system: ???-???
i haven't made it to mizar+ yet.... im an engineer so level slow. :'(

that is what there like at the mo but abit higher
u dont get my point,and i dont have piles of cash 2 spend
for the free players u NEED 2 have the E set up round 300 4 vega and so on

i do get what you mean... 300e at vega 4 is a bit high... the normal amount of max e people have is like 1500 by the time they get to antares.
so that is like 5 e cells... the company would not make any money off selling e in the CS.
i agree that we should not spend MOST of the time we are online farming for e... but i understand that the company needs money... a small boost should make a big difference.
*wont know unless it is done... but SOME THING needs done*

i get what you mean.....what about:
Vega:150E per cell
Antares:300E per cell
Gemini:450E per cell
Mizar:600E per cell
Sol and Above:1000E per cell
I think this is a sutable change that should cut farming times but still let splitscreen get some cash at the same time

here is my idea for E.

use a formula that takes into account the location of the E ball and your pilot rank. this keeps the E farming reasonable for any level.

something like: base E + (location modifier x Rank)

so at Vega 1 LZ if you give that location a base of 10 and a location modifier of 1, a rank 5 pilot would get 15 E and a rank 50 pilot would get 60. (currently the E balls at that location are 10-15 E for everyone.)

i think that a system like this would solve the problems of too much time spent farming E, while still keeping buying E with Gold competitive.

that would be best... but splitscreen doesn't seem to like to do any thing that takes a lot of work.

i think its abit too... advanced 4 the monkeys behind the game 2 put in
i think mine is still best,but the MK.2 vesion

This is not a question if SS like it or not, but what you are suggesting here is far too high up and out of range.
First of all, you do not have even e-balls of 300 everywhere at Earth, and it is the highest planet of all.
So when you come back to earth again, and I mean realistic, try to think about amounts what is more real to be thought of.

Like these suggestions you are reaching for heaven and a far too easy gameplay.

If those e-balls would be like you suggest here, then I would be in heaven and wouldn't use one cent to buy any energy never more, I wouldn't need too, and I bet the others who buy e time by time will think the same way.
You would totally ruin the business of Energy, there would not be a need of customers buying e anymore.
Think of that now.

Is it only my imagination, or are the newer players of today much lazier than we were one year ago?

Their thinking of speeding the collector up. The one on the PTR now is fast.

You can't seriously think the e-cells would be increased that much as suggested,
and Bill here has a point, at PTR it is faster to collect.

There is so much other issues as well what has been improved at PTR and will once go alive in the main server, so why you don't just wait and see what will be changed, and we can work from there. :)
Don't loose your hope and faith, we have managed to get this far in a year and more.

The fact is that the purchase of Energy through the Gold shop would cease if the e-cells would be that radically increased.

Collectors are being Speeded Up so collecting E will not be an Issue any longer - see

yh but i don't think it really solves the problem when you go with a higher ship to lower systems it will still take ages to fill up.
like i can load about 6100 e and at terasa you get like 50-70 e so it takes a really long time. i guess we just have to wait and see if the update will solve the e-problem

i don't think that will get changed... and that is fine with me.
helps keep high levels from going to lower level systems... most the time when a high level goes to a lower level area he is going to troll/flame lower levels.

well there are players who go back to help lower players and filling there would take like an hour so i always have to go back to sol to refill.
