It has been over 5 hours since server restart and invasion started and still not a single gold bp, bit of cryo, or boss spawn yet. As far as anyone knows the only thing dropping on dante is logfiles. Like i said, over 5 hours, no cryo, no bp's (rare or regular), and no bosses!
yeah, only the bigg ship that re spawns every 4 hours.....
As i said up there.....
There the only thing we found to drop anything, and i think there was 1 gold reported on our server, or all the ninjas were to fast, one of the two

Unfortunately some bugs were found in the Event & fixed. They will go into effect after Server Restart @ 0530am

the only mantis that drop stuff (never got anything from other mantis) are healers that land when u bring down HP of rougue methanoid that comes out of bigger ones which come from methanoid cruiser.
Based on that, wouldn't a good strategy be to simply turtle the big guy, let him keep refilling health, and then milking for spawn to kill? I never found the cruiser, just the eng's and they dropped things. But the bps were blue that i saw. Maybe i dedicate some time to the cruiser tomorrow.Whatever said:

It wont do - we tried it already. Once they spawn healers they dont spawn more of them when their HP is replenished (if you're to let them heal). So no, there is no endless grinding of bps once you're done with them, that's it - cruiser will spawn again in 4 hrs from the moment it's killed. Going against the cruiser solo is pure suicide. So far from what I could test with other people is that engis are best ships to do this event. You can use protect while you engage the cruiser and it will shield you from aggro blast that cruiser has as a weapon. So squad of engis will tear thru methanoids and ensure you're pretty much covered from pirates.spikefin said:

Podding people that are all trying to do the same thing sounds more like pilots who don't know how to PvP 1 on 1..they have to have all there clan back them up because there afraid to get podded for acting foolishly.Primeus said:

another silly/unfair red event (events should b tailored for all category of players imo) but who knows maybe they just testing or just wanna rake in some cash for gold for haloween sweets.
i dont mind letting reds get more rewards cause they risk more waste more time or pay gold for cryo vaults etc. , but they should permit the white(non pvp) players to also have access to everything the game has to offer imo not start limiting it more and more. else make it so all are red all the time.lol

Don't be telling false information mate. We got tired of you guys trying to take our targets and podded the lot of you so many times we grew too tired to continue fighting the mantis. My fingers hurt today from pressing the fire button so much on you guys.
Regardless, what a waste of time and resources dante is. It takes two squads to kill all the necesary mantis in the necessary progression, hundreds of thousands of energy, and lots of lost cry should you not have cry-protection. The drop rate does not support that many players involved to the extent that all the players gain from it. Add to it the "reds" because the planet does not support any other way, and the costs are exorbitant to say the least.
Even those that won something in this event, lost more than they gained. Add it all up, man what an expensive easter ship you won. Heck, I killed a bunch of rabbits for mine. And, they cost me a lot less than this event. And, I believe I had much more fun doing that event than doing this one.
