From this point Forward, ANY Pilot who sends in any Screenshot under False pretenses in an effort to get another Pilot in any kind of trouble will go to jail for a minimum of 4 hours.

This post particularly applies to the following Clans & all the harassing they are doing to each other:

Winds of War (WoW)
Chaos
Prrates Elite (PE)
Risen from Ashes (RFA)
Solar Outcast Brigade (SOB)
N-M-E

Harassing of other Pilots will stop NOW!!!

The Following CoC Rules are being Violated:

2. You must not harass, discriminate, threaten or otherwise “grief” players in anyway.

10. You must not organize or be a member of any groups or clans that facilitate or are based on racist, anti-religious or other hate based philosophies. It is also forbidden to do anything that is a threat to the game or interferes with the gaming and game play of the game

There is only a Few Pilots that are causing issue from the above mentioned clans. This will be the only Warning that Pilots will get. Harassment in any way, shape or form will STOP now. Offenders will go to jail immediately

I have had enough of this game now n think I will spendmy money elsewhere.... My clan will follow me so thats 25 players that ss will lose at a minimum. Profit before people, n its a shame coz we all left Dark Orbit to come here for same reason! I for one will see it out on PG but the constant bitching, harressment, swearing n getn me in trouble (false screenshots) etc et el will only see paid players like me leave n spend
elsewhere!

it could be easily misinterpreted to say dont shoot reds,
which would then cause yet more issues with the gameplay

Yeahh, ive already left tonight. I Wish all the pilots who have become real good friends, good luck in the game, ive been playing pretty much since the whole game started and im sad too see, but ive just got to the point where ive had enough, ive never had one warning, not ever on this game... but let alone i help alot of people, im not am harresser , ive never caused trouble and all the pilots that truely know me, know how nice i am and when someone is mean i take it over my head with a pinch of salt. But when someone takes it too far its not fair.

Well, in my oppinion,

and I think in many other people ways, but probebly not by SS, is harrasment as keep bothering people, annoying them, stealing from them and calling names to them.

So yes, Stealing from other players can be seen as harassment, but remember that if it only happens once as an accident then it's not that bad. I just think that asking people to not steal / shoot on your enemy that you shot first should be enough to let people know that they want to be solo and not be annoyed.

But sometimes people keep stealing, shooting at their target etc. thats is in my eyes harassment and that should be stopped right now, because its no longer FUN!

As SS, the GM's, the whole community all want is FUN!

The problem with this approach is that now players who witness genuine abuse will think twice about submitting a screen shot for fear that it will be interpreted as being under 'false pretences'.

Surely a better approach would be to simply ignore screenshots from those you know to send them in under false pretences?

it's always hard to say whats harassment and not.

myself, I was here on mars, grinding for cryonite on a public place for around 2 players, actually 1.5 players.

You see the problem there. there is missing 0.5 place. And that causes for anger, sure they could both take .75 of the place, but thats probebly not enough and one comes over the borders, annoys the other and things happen. They start calling eachother thieves and claim every harv their own.

Thats the situation, but then this one person gets angry, he starts following the other player across the surface of mars, the one thats being followed start saying that the follower needs to stop, maybe saying words that should not be called... But the follower won't stop following. The chat is doing nothing. So many witnesses, and nothing. The public is actually being angry at the victim...

Which is Fine....the good book says... do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

But if your red and get podded suck it up and get over it. I got podded in a 2 on 1.... and said nothing back Friday night. I went on bout my buisness.

This post is directed at everyone, but due only to the actions of the few.

Everybody has seen the pilot that makes it his goal to harrass another player all the time. Or, the player that starts the name calling and that kind of stuff. Well, we have had occaission to receive a screenshot or two sent in by players claiming to be the victim of abuse by others, when they were not. Pushing another players buttons or picking on him until they get angry and cuss at you is "greiving" and quite childish. Stop doing it. And, as another player notes in this topic . . . "being abused by a 12 year old." Many of those doing the abuse are children. But, because they are children they have the excuse of being children. We, as adults are not afforded such excuse and need to ensure we act as adults when dealing with others. So, if your a 30 year old that gets his kicks greiving others or by sending in false claims against others, knock it off.

There are a whole bunch of people in this game that want to enjoy the game, without the abuse, harrassment, button-pushing, and other stuff not conducive to having fun. So, let's ensure they are allowed to do so.

U got a point there m8, but some times even if u send the screenshot or something, u must not be the one that started, for me I am 13, and ppl had called me many things, most of them was 9-12 year old yes, and when they try pod me and they fail they call me even worse things, what u think should i say something back, or just leave it and go or should i report to guys? what sounds best or rather do nothing...

What is a Pirate? According to the dictionary a Pirate is...
1 - One who robs at sea or plunders the land from the sea without commission from a sovereign nation.
A ship used for this purpose.
2 - One who preys on others; a plunderer.

Pirates dont kill other Pirates?... Then whats the purpose of having a button that allows you to turn RED and kill anyone else in RED?

As for the GM's... as of late I dont trust any of them. Its nothing personal except for what and how they handle things in the game. I've seen where one group can do this and another group cant do what the 1st group is doing. Some are allowed to get away with it while others are punished for it.

Nw I know I aint the perfect player, and yes there have been times I spoke before thinking and I am guilty of responding to the personal attacks on me and my family ( I have no Family they are not in this world any more so please leave them out of this).... and For that I Apologize for that.

You are a good player and you ahve answered youre own question, let it go. If they bug you too much turn on your ignore button. But, do not get involved in a conflict you can easily avoid.

I guess all I'm hearing is: "If you are getting harrassed , don't come to us for help". I mean really... that is absolutely what it sounds like now. I am one that just plays the game, never goes red (unless I hit that poorly placed skull/button on accident), and basically stays out of the conflicts. But this just doesnt make sense to me at all... If your being harrassed you can no longer send in screenshots because you risk getting into trouble...
I guess I don't really care either way, But maybe ...just maybe... if some of the main troublemakers would have been slapped by the ban hammer long ago, then these little virtual wars might not have broken out in the 1st place, and so many screenshots sent in would have been far less...
If it were up to me there would not be PM mode period. If you wanted to 1-vs 1 you would go to a designated planet in each system... just a thought.
As a former GM in a totally different fps game, I dealt with screenies by the hundreds, and if the players in the screenie were violating the TOS,Rules of engagement, etc... they were suspended on 1st offense for 1 day, second offense was a permanent suspension. But the point is, we encouraged players to report abuses.

On the positive side, This game has by far the most amount of active GM's, and the best support response I've seen in a long time out of any game, But there are some peeps out there that need to be followed in ghost mode and chat monitored so that they can be dealt with.
