End of cooperation with Bigpoint

Dear Bigpoint users,

Cooperation between Bigpoint and Splitscreen will expire soon.

Pirate Galaxy will no longer be playable from the Bigpoint portal, but your account and pilots will be transferred to a splitscreen account so that you can continue playing.

We will clarify the exact procedure for the transfer as soon as possible. Once we know more, we will notify you with this.

I was told, and so was others by SS and GMs that, theres no way to transfer accounts to Splitscreen, has it only just been made possible? because I dont feel safe being with gamigo, im not saying anything to do with them being a bad host etc etc but, what if this thing happens also with Gamigo. will our accounts go in the bin with the gamigo association?

I read a post some time ago where someone (no, I can't be more specific :p) said that it is possible. But, as you might understand, it is not a simple *copy* -> *paste*, so... I am sure, as I said in same rant thread, that if Gamigo's contract ends, they will do the same.

ok, well is there a way for me to buy gold that the SS accounts get, instead of using the Gamigo way,

I tried logging in to buy gold on the pg website, but it said login failed, because im from gamigo portal, is there no way I can buy gold with me being Gamigo from the SS side?

In order to purchase Gold thru Splitscreen you must have a Splitscreen Account. Gamigo, as well as Bigpoint, have their own ways of Purchasing Gold thru their respective Portals

Well, it seems to have happened .... spent all day trying to get through Bigpoint and i freeze at the game login step. I really think some better foresight is needed ... a lot of BigPoint users are now hung out to dry

Have they made the Change cause y cant seem to access my account enymore, and if they have can the new way and access procediurs be posted for us bigpoint users please.

i heard, it's a BIGPOINT-SERVER-PROB

Bigpoint has them too. But in another thread somebody wrote, it would work.

Yh im a bigpoint user and now i cant use it at the mo i was a lvl 39 and it took me 10 days of in game time to make it so.
I dont want it to be wasted :mad: :mad: :mad: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

Day three of no service thru BigPoint.

I know that all users are of importance to SplitScreen, but it would seem like someone who had worked up to level 45 could be regarded as a serious player of this game, and have a little action taken.

Yes, I know it's BogPoint's problem, but they have been unresponsive to 5 support requests.
